NCES 6th graders leading school-wide morning announcements. Such a great way to create leadership! Great job, guys!!!

Many thanks to the Clinton Police Department and CCS staff for their assistance in ensuring the safety of all our CCS students. The threat was not school-based, but CPD felt the need to call a lock down and postpone dismissal out of an abundance of caution.
In situations such as this, we will always ensure the safety of our students first. We will report to parents as soon as we can confirm enough accurate information to relay. This takes time. We will always post on social media first as it is immediate. Initiating a phone call takes approximately 7-12 minutes. Therefore, in an attempt to reach as many parents as possible, we use social media first. Our goal is to keep parents informed, but our first priority will always be using all our resources to keep students safe. We appreciate your patience and understanding. CCS students, staff, CPD, and parents are the best!

All CCs dismissals are hold as per Clinton Police Department due to a community issue. All students are safe in the buildings and we will dismiss as soon as Clinton Police gives the ok.

Blaze Cross Country is up and “running!” There is still time to join! Contact kerleyt@clintonschools.org if your 3-6th grader is interested! Go Blaze!!
