Kindergarten Roundup for the 2026-2027 school year is the registration process, which is required for all upcoming kindergarten students who will be attending Clinton Elementary, North Clinton Elementary, or South Clinton Elementary schools. Please bring all paperwork at this time. Immunization and physical records are due by August 1, 2026.
Children must be five years old by August 15, 2026, to enter kindergarten in accordance with state law for the 2026 academic year.
Students who reside in the Clinton City limits should go to the school they want to attend to register. Zone exception forms will be available at each school. Zone exception approval letters will be sent out via U.S. Mail by April 15.
The window for transfer registration is April 1, 2026 to May 15, 2026. Beginning April 1, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., non-city residents may come by Central Office (212 N. Hicks Street) to complete a Transfer Application and Data Information Form (if applying for grades 1-5, they need attendance and behavior from the previous year). Approval letters will be sent via U.S. Mail the first week of June. If approved, you then come to Central Office on the Registration days which is on June 18 and 19. You will bring all documentation and pay the $25.00 one time registration fee at this time.
