Each year the Tennessee School Boards Association presents an award to a board of education that has an outstanding program operating within their district. Congratulations to the 2020 recipient of the TSBA Award for Excellence in Education: the Clinton City Blaze!
Created in 2018, the Blaze is a comprehensive activities program that provides students with a wide variety of opportunities to develop individual talents and interests.
Click below to hear Kelly Johnson, Clinton City Director of Schools, and E.T. Stamey, Clinton City Athletic Director, discuss the benefits of this program and explain how other districts can set up a similar program in their schools.
