Assistive Technology is any device or service that improves or maintains the functional capabilities of individuals with disabilities.

The mission at Clinton City Schools is to improve student achievement through the use of accessible instructional materials, available assistive technology devices, and services designed to increase access to the general education curriculum.

The Special Education Staff assesses and identifies students with disabilities who may need assistive technology to support the achievement of goals and progress in their educational program and consults with students, parents, and school staff to ensure assistive technology is integrated into the curriculum and daily activities of identified students across environments.
