Accelerated Reader is now online! All schools are participating in the online version of Accelerated
Reader. The on line program is called "Renaissance Place". All quizzes are available for students to access (at school). Because there are over 100,000 quizzes available, you might want to take a look at this site:  http://www.arbookfind.com/  It may look like a store site, but you do not need to purchase anything. It's just a convenient place to find out if there is an AR quiz for a book your child has read (or is interested in reading). The Quick Search in AR BookFinder works similarly to a Google™ search because you will type keywords into the blank field. Follow the steps below.

Go to  http://www.arbookfind.com/ .
From the Quick Search tab, type a book title, topic, or author’s name into the blank field and click Go.
Click Add to AR BookBag next to the books you want to add to your AR BookBag.
When you are finished adding books to your AR Book Bag, click the AR BookBag icon to view the books you’ve added.

If you want to search by Book Level, Author, Interest Level or Title, please click on the Advanced Search Tab. Enter the title of the book or the author. Then click on the drop down arrow next to Sort (located at the bottom of the screen). Select the method you want to use. Finally click on Go.

A word of caution -- Be sure you have the correct spelling for the title of a book. For example: If you are looking for a book titled "The Beast in Ms. Rooney's Room" be sure to type in Ms. Rooney in the title. If you type in Mrs. Rooney, you will not get any matches. This applies both to the Quick Search and to the Advanced Search tabs.

(Click here for a screen shot.) If you would like to see the entire list, you can also download it here in Excel or as an Adobe Reader PDF. (Warning: These files are extremely large and may take some time downloading!!!)
