CCS Health and Wellness Guidelines back button

As a participant in the National School Lunch Program, Clinton City Schools is required to establish local school wellness policies.  To provide a policy frame of reference for nutrition, physical activity and cafeteria procedures, Clinton City Schools has developed Health and Wellness Guidelines. These guidelines are an important tool for parents and school districts in promoting student wellness, preventing and reducing childhood obesity, and providing assurance that school meal nutrition guidelines meet federal school meal standards.
