More kindergarten and third grade students at Clinton Elementary School are taking advantage of the latest technology thanks to the generosity of Mr. John Branum of the Community Trust Bank of Clinton.

Mr. Jimmy Huddleston and Ms. Sharon Edwards, Loan Officers with the bank, presented two new iPads to Mrs. Emily Spahr and Mrs. Lauren Quarles during the schools’ assembly program on Friday, March 2.

Both teachers are excited to receive the gift and have already made plans for putting the iPads to use in their classrooms. The countless educational apps will provide opportunities for intervention, skills practice, and acceleration to meet students’ academic needs. However, the students are also excited, as was expressed by their screams when the announcements were made.
