CCS Educators of the Year

Monica Rael The district’s “Principal of the Year” is Mrs. Monica Rael, the principal at North Clinton Elementary School.  Mrs. Rael is in her first year as principal.  She holds degrees from Tennessee Technological University and began her teaching career in at North Clinton Elementary School where she taught sixth grade.
Jodi McCoy

Mrs. Jodi McCoy, a kindergarten teacher, is the Clinton Elementary School’s “Teacher of the Year”.  Mrs. McCoy began her teaching career at CES just two years ago. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.


Melanie Gettelfinger

North Clinton Elementary has honored Mrs. Melanie Gettelfinger as “Teacher of the Year”.  Mrs. Gettelfinger has taught kindergarten at NCES for more than 20 years. She graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.


Joan Altobelli

The South Clinton Elementary School "Teacher of the Year" is Mrs. Joan Altobelli. She teaches sixth-grade math and science.  Mrs. Altobelli received her degree from Lincoln Memorial University.


A banquet will be held on April 10 at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center to recognize these individuals along with the “Educators of the Year” from the Anderson County School System.
